Ready to get started? Here's everything you need to know.

Shopping

Whether you're ready to indulge in a little retail therapy or just need to run a few errands, you won't have to travel far to find exactly what you need. Piqua is Miami County's top shopping destination, and it also features plenty of locally owned stores, too.

Not sure where to start? You'll find plenty of locals at Miami Valley Centre Mall, which features spots like The Essentials, Christopher & Banks, and Bath & Body Works. Other favorites include Crazy Martin's Gifts and Town & Country Furniture.

Dining

Have you worked up an appetite? Don't worry—Piqua is home to some of the best restaurants in Miami County, and we have a few favorites you just have to check out.

Lighthouse Cafe is a go-to spot for so many locals, especially if you're looking for a quick bite. Be sure to check out 3 Joes Pizzeria and Trattoria, a local business that's been serving up yummy slices with a smile for over 50 years. Other top eateries include Mikado Japanese Restaurant, and El Herradero.

Schools

If you're relocating from across the country, local schools are probably a major factor in your home search. Even if you don't have children, homes in top-rated districts tend to increase in value over time, which makes for a great investment.

Luckily, our area is served by Piqua City Schools, which features two elementary schools, one middle school, a junior high school, and Piqua High School. Looking for private options? You may want to consider Piqua Catholic School, the Piqua Seventh Day Adventist School, and the Nicholas School.

Jobs

There's a reason why job-seekers are flocking to the Piqua area—it's the perfect retreat from the big city, but you won't have to sacrifice location or amenities. In fact, Miami County is known for its wide variety of executive homes, all of which are less than 20 miles from Dayton.

If you're not interested in commuting, Piqua is home companies like EvenFlo and Piqua City Schools. However, you'll also find Kettering Health Network, Premier Health, and countless major universities just a short drive away.
