The smallest in the area, the Covington district operates three schools—one elementary school, one middle school, and one high school. The district has a unique history, as well as a blend of historic and modern facilities on the campus. The schools also boast a rich academic environment, as well as a growing number of extracurricular activities, from athletics to the fine arts.

Another district on the smaller size, the Tipp City schools are actually known as some of the best in the Dayton area—and the top choice in Miami County. The school's graduation rate sits at an impressive 95%, and test scores are well-above the national average. Additionally, the school offers a robust AP program, a beautiful performing arts center, and a number of sports and clubs to choose from.

The largest district in the area, Troy City operates 9 schools in the region, with a remarkable 97% graduation rate. Since the district is bigger, students have a wider selection of athletics and extracurricular activities. Additionally, over the past few years the district has been working with the state and a design firm to renovate old buildings and add new facilities to the campus—which is good news for both students and faculty.
